The Arena contract process
Add your comments in the forums. Anyone can comment! On March 2, 2004 a contract was executed between the City of Stockton and International Facilities Group (IFG) regarding the management of the Stockton Arena and other venues. What we do know is the contract is very favorable to IFG. What we don't know, yet, are the deliberations that took place in creating this contract. Due to retention policies in place, the documents supporting the development of the contract. The policy, based on regulatory requirements, allowed for destruction of the documents 2 years after execution of the contract. 2 1/2 months after Mark C. Lewis was fired. We have requested documentation regarding the destruction of documents as well as the documents themselves. What still exists is unknown, but we shall provide what we can in the future to those desiring answers. For now, here are the primary contracts as provided by the City of Stockton.
